Meet the Administrators

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Partners in Education, 

Welcome to the Indian Trace Elementary School website. We are proud to be an “A” rated school and honored to have received the prestigious Golden School Award for our exemplary practices in parent and community involvement. Additionally, we made history as the first Broward County Public School to be awarded the Florida Power School Library Award by the Department of Education, recognizing our outstanding Media and Library Program. Our school’s Media Center continues to serve as a model for others in our district and state. Quality library programs play a crucial role in enhancing student achievement, and we invite you to visit and experience ours firsthand. I am confident that you will be impressed! 

At Indian Trace Elementary School, we understand the importance of educating the whole child. With this in mind, we continue to offer a variety of enrichments for our students including STEM, Robotics, Spanish Club, Book Clubs, T.V. Production, Debate, Chorus, and Tracer Buddies Peer Counseling Program. We pride ourselves on providing exposure to a variety of high-quality learning experiences and enrichments so that when our students leave us and matriculate to middle and high school, they are prepared to choose electives that they are passionate about. All of our teachers are highly qualified and continuously take advantage of professional development opportunities to provide our students with rich and rigorous units of study. We work hard to make sure that all children are excited to learn and continue to show academic growth. 

We have a true partnership with our families and the community at Indian Trace Elementary School. We understand the importance of open communication and support each other as we work toward our common goal of educating our students. I encourage all of our new and returning families to get involved by volunteering, attending PTA and SAC and SAF meetings, and family events. My door is always open to you and your children.
